From Los Angeles, California, Vietnamese-American Jason Dinh is a young Youtuber/engineer. He enjoys drawing and art and decided to share one of his drawings along with his opinions on the Anti-Asian hate crimes across the country. The drawing in the cover picture is one of his drawings, depicting one of the elderly victims of Anti-Asian physical violence. Thank you for your submission, Jason!

My Thoughts on Anti-Asian Hate

The whole Anti-Asian thing makes no sense to me at all. Even if the Coronavirus did originate from China, how does that relate to me? Or, any Asians in America, Europe, or even Africa? As a matter of fact, what does that have to do with the Chinese people in China? Not all 1.4 billion people in China have the virus or related to it. Just like how all White/European people aren't all from Russia, and all African/Black people are not from Nigeria or South Africa, all Asian people are not from or related to China. We need to take a step back and think about this: We're all in this together.

Unrelated to the Anti-Asian hate crimes, but Jason took the death of George Floyd and the BLM movement very personally, and these are some of his drawings:

Other than that, these are just some other drawings. Check them out!

Here's a self-portrait of him:

Finally, a man from Nigeria saw his painting from Facebook and requested him to draw his baby. In the end, Jason decided to not charge any money for the painting.
